about me

I consider myself to be a very artistic and creative person and have enjoyed writing as one of my hobbies for a long time both stories and poetry.although never had the opportunity to expand my interest.
I live alone apart from two Rhodesian Ridgebacks (hence my interest in Laurence Van Der Post as the stories feature a Ridgeback dog in Rhodesia.One of my dogs is named Hinza after theRidgeback featured in the books.) The one in the photo is called Asad,and two cats.
I have a few artistic friends in art ,music and writing and feel I get my creative talent from my late mother who wrote humerous poetry and music.
I used to enjoy riding horses which I have done all my life but had to give up through an illness I developed and a bad fall after being thrown and hurting my back ,so alas had to sell my beloved horse.I am interested in antiques and collectibles,and major diy and bake and decorate wedding cakes as well as many other interests,while working full time in finance.
My mother was a big influence regarding writing and she brought us up on poetry which I still remember.
