about me

Getting to the desk with Suddenly strangers was great – thanks SO much to everyone who helped me.

For those of you who love a game of ‘Where’s Wally/Waldo’ you’ll love the new and improved game, ‘Spot the typo’. To play, just click on read No Kiss Goodbye and start counting.

If you want me to read your book just ask. I am honest though, so don’t ask if you don’t want to know exactly what I think. I hope for the same honesty when people read my stuff.

Janny Peacock

The car crash cost Laura the power of her legs. The aftermath will cost her so much more.

Laura is a stressed out mother of two young children. She often wishes for a break - she should be more careful what she wishes for.

Determined to discover the truth she flees to New York with her best friend, Eve. Once in the Big Apple Laura is more confused than ever as muddled memories from her forgotten past surface.

Suddenly Strangers

Janny Peacock

When the 'other woman' holds the key to all you ever wanted, would you play by her rules?

What could be more exciting for a pair of newly-weds than news that a baby is on the way?
But what if the baby isn't theirs?

Emma wants nothing more than to give her new husband, David, a baby. But she can't have children.

Jane - David's boss - can.

When a drunken fumble leaves Jane carrying David's baby Emma's life is turned upside down.

It seems Emma is the only person who can forgive David, even when he can't forgive himself.

But just how truthful is Jane? How much will Emma have to sacrifice to give David the baby he so desperately wants?

Emma learns that sometimes the things that threaten to destroy you are actually a gift that makes you stronger.

My first thoughts reading this are that it would make a great movie. It a unique story and one, I’m sure, that would appeal to a wide audience. I admit the narrative is heavy – boarding on too heavy at times, but I doubt with a prose like this it would work any other way. I like the pace and unu... view book

Hmmm this is a peculiar one. I certainly haven’t read anything like this before. I felt a little like I was inside the rambling of your MC mind, I was as confused as he was and I thought it was brilliant. I can’t tell what’s real and what is imagination – I’m so hooked, because I need answers. I can... view book

Hi Suzanne, This fits the current YA market like a glove. Really tight narrative too in a great easy to read style. Can see teenagers really attaching to your MC. This is the type of story that would make a great movie, lots of action and Drama. Best of luck with this, Janny view book

I enjoyed what I read of this. I don’t usually read such deep stories but your narrative is quite powerful and certainly very melancholy. Hugely gripping opening. You do an excellent job of showing how afraid yet determined they must have been. Some lovely description here but never heavy handed wh... view book

I have to admit that at the moment I don’t think the title is doing this book justice. I’ve had this on my WL for ages and I’ve read over the pitch a couple of times but I wasn’t really drawn in. Wow, I really got that wrong, I wasn’t expecting this book to be as deep and moving as it is. So much em... view book
