Joe Ducie (1987-) is a writer from Perth, Western Australia. By day, he charges a toll to cross a bridge he doesn't own. Yet by night, in a haze of scotch-fuelled insanity, he works tirelessly on an array of stories both short and long. Joe possesses a fierce love of a smooth finish. Under no circumstances should you ask him just what that means.
The Name of the Wind - Patrick RothfussThe Dark Tower I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII - Stephen KingAnd all the old favourites - Tolkien, Jordan, Joyce.

Tom, Excellent stuff here. I can't pick fault. This is a great story, a great premise. I like that we get straight into the story (the future) and think your target audience, and probably beyond, would love this. I read the first two chapters, plan to read a few more. Michael, Thank you for recommending this (even if you do sound like amazon, heh!). Only I don't think controversy is th... view book
Hey there. Cool story so far, mate. I've read the first few chapters and I'll back this based on the quality of the writing and the temptations in the plotting. I can see there's plenty more to go, so I'll make a point to get back here. Few critiques: Watch your adverbs. They're unnecessary an... view book
