about me

I've launched a small publishing venture, Electrik Inc, with three other children's writers. My book, St Viper's School for Super Villains will be out in May 2012.

Do take a peek at our blog and my book cover: www.electrikinc.wordpress.com

I'm sorry but i'm so busy setting up Electrik Inc that i won't be able to undertake any reviews for a little while. Good luck!

Childhood obesity and soldiers returning from war and reintegrating into family life are both topical subjects at the moment, so should be on a publisher's radar. The writing is accomplished and the main character's voice is believable. Well done. Picking up on Matt's question mark over the pace, I ... view book

Dear Sandie. As promised i've read chapters 1 and 2 and am keen to read on. Ch 1/Prologue - the opening action scene worked well and i thought the pace was spot on for the readership. I particularly liked the blood thirsty spectators, the mountain that appeared to scrape the sky and the idea of th... view book

Your writing is very accessible. I particularly liked your description of the wolf pups, the mustard sauce air and the tavern where it was "easy to imagine river pirates watching the off shore waves for ships on which they could prey". I also thought your characters worked well. Just a couple of th... view book

Hello Simon. I've read all the chapters you've put on the site. The story is well written and i particularly like the relationship between Liam and Amber. I smiled at, "He'd known her for less than ten minutes and already she'd punched him twice. Promising." I do think you need to get them openin... view book

Dear Steven I love the overall concept and your writing in general. I'm sure i'll see your work in print one day. But i can see that your book not having a well defined protagonist and a clear central plot from page one might be a difficult sell (if your aim is publication). I agree with one of th... view book
