about me

There is not enough room on my on bookshelf. Grrrrr!

If you are kind enough to leave a comment on my book I will always reciprocate.

I've been told I have an 'odd way' of looking at things and a 'slightly strange' sense of humour, (my psychologist is a part-time comedian...I think) anyway all this should help me when writing my fantasy novel.
So I guess it's likes now, I love etymology, ancient history, science (rather vague I know-think everything) philosophy, religion and puzzles.
I got a D at GCSE english, (go me....lol) so now I'm all set to write a book, I'm thinking I'll use a purple crayon today. :)
I'm more of a film-buff than bookworm, I see the book as a film in my head and write it down as I see it. Sounds simple enough, I'll be top of the charts before Bolt crosses the line, (Bolt by name and nature) minds wandering....back on track then, so, how to start my story? aha, got it,.....
(tense, dramatic music) In a galaxy far far away......
AAAHHHHH! writers block, okay time to go to bed and eat the cheese on my pillow, (incase your wondering, I couldn't resist eating the mints, and putting ice cream on the pillow is silly.....and cheese isn't) anyway cheese induced dreams are made for fantasy creaters. or was that psilocybim mushrooms, I'm not sure.

Nine months ago I decided to write a book on a whim. I did it, but during the process I've discovered my style and I've pulled Panthea because it doesn't reflect it. I'm buzzing about a new project, so I'll be thrusting myself into that so I won't be frequenting this site often.

My fave books are on my shelf, I recommend you read them.

Good luck all.

What a way to start a story. And the bus, sublime. You have a great imagination and a wonderful story telling craft. Gareth is a great MC. Shelved, Paul. view book

Hi, I'm loving the set-up. Loads of views from different characters and all interlaced. At first I found your characters two-dimesional, but upon reading further most started to flesh out. The others I guess not because of the needs of the story and their immaturity. Their inability to reflect, int... view book

I read new scientist and have many a book like this (not the same, but all trying to piece everything together) and this is one of the best. Thought provoking, educational and anybody who tries to marry religious ideas with science gets my thumbs up. And lets not forget, quantum mechanics is so ex... view book

This is very well written, researced and structured. I personally loved the way chapter 2 ended with the recalling of his past and the women in his life. Shelved to be read some more. Paul view book

humerous character gets protagonist gets gilled at the start dies and has a quick chat with a troll before running home to get cleaned up. Very imaginative, like death becomes her. Shelved, Paul. view book
