about me

Right, so I'm back online after my 300 day hiatus. So don't read my current book, I've reworked everything so really unless you want to read it you'll probably be wasting your time.

My rule for reads, I'll read your first 2 chapters. I'm well aware that not everybody can/or should have to pull off a cracker of a first chapter. Some stories need build up and others just have lots of detail.

If I read your work, I will appreciated you reading my own when I upload it. You don't have to and I wont force you. I will however drop you a line when I do upload it asking you if you don't mind returning the favour.

favourite books

* Agatha Christie - I prefer Marple mysteries most.
* Cat Who (The entire series.)
* The Chronicles of Narnia (VOTD is my Favorite)
* Diary of A Mad Mother-To-Be
* The Duncton Chronicles.
* Harry Potter
* LOTR
* Pongwiffy (That is my all time favorite children's book)
* Macbeth & Hamlet
*Nervous Conditions
* A Series of Unfortunate Events
* The Faraway Tree Stories

*Asterix & Tintin comics (I know they don't really classify as books but I grew up on them.)

The Alzheimer’s Club

Dylan Craig Boyes

A look at Lavender House, a home dedicated to the care for patients with Alzheimer's topped off with murder.

Bernie Long is tired from working in the fast paced hospital environment. Ideally he would have his own practice but he isn't in the right financial curve. Enter Lavender House, a place where not many doctors are willing to work the long hours for such bad pay. But for Bernie it will have to do. His patients are forgetful but the staff he works with are friendly and professional. However, when one of the residents dies something seems off to Bernie. Sure she was 97, but something in her autopsy report looked odd. Unfortunately, the police aren't interested in the suspected murder of a woman who was on death's door.
It's up to Bernie to collect evidence from potential witnesses who barely remember their last names.

This is such a good read, it has everything a book like this should require ... the story itself is very original, nothing can be compared to it. I always get the feeling when reading other books here that the story resembles that of another book, a movie or tv series. Not yours! Well done =) I w... view book

I am so shelving this one: what a great read. It's intriguing, imaginative, entertaining and unique. It's a page turner, well written with seemingly wonderful imagery. I am happy to give this my backing, All the best and hope to see this on the editors desk soon, Dylan. view book

I like the fact that it never became tedious to read your work, you must have put so much effort into this to make it feel like I was not just read any manuscript but something worth of even buying one day. I have to say I enjoyed the read, I made it past your great prologue and hummed on to read ... view book

Oooh I really like this one. The prologue gripped me from the first sentence, dragging me through to Chapter 1. This read was unique, enjoyable. Thumbs up already for my backing. I hope to see this on the editors desk within a few months, I know when you get as high as your ranking that just gai... view book

This is a very solid fantasy read, it's easy to read and fun to read. The opening chapter drew me in immediately and continued to hold my attention through chapters 2 and 3. You may need to make a few nip and tucks but we all have to do that after our 300th read. Trust me, mine needs about a hundred... view book
