about me

Hi reader, writer, or lost person that clicked on me by mistake! :)

My name's Julio and I'm a nineteen year old Puerto Rican from Florida who loves to write. My dream is to write books teens would want to read outside of the classroom. I love Young Adult novels! So if you got one, let me know! I love creating teenage characters that any kid could relate to. Lights is a novel i started writing when i was seventeen, and yes its still a work in progress! I'm like "uber" excited for you guys to check it out

Also, If you want me to read your work, just shoot me a message! I'll be more than happy to give you my support:)

A link to the Wattpad page of the person who edited my first chapter: http://www.wattpad.com/user/winterbmine

She goes by WinterBMine and was a huge help with the opening of my book! :)

In their world, the hidden obstacles that many teens experience on an everyday basis are revealed; Child abuse, racism, teenage pregnancy, drug addiction, financial issues and love relationships that are prohibited, discriminated or judged upon. All are pushed to their breaking points as they try to accomplish their individual goals and dreams of becoming well known performers in the Manhattan area.

Hi Mylo, I've read your first chapter and I like where this is going. I mean, I'm not really a big fan of "Chick-lit" but your characters seem Intresting and you have believable dialogue. I feel bad for Zoey, although she didn't really take it as hard as I thought she would. I mean her boyfriend ... view book

YARG Review Hi Tracey, I've read your first two chapters and I found this to be a really fun read. This reminds me of "Bridge To Terabethia" only edgier and more upbeat. I found both Elly and Esso to be really believable characters. I think you've written their dialogue well. I found the comment... view book

Hey Ashley, Just read your prologue and your first chapter and this is easily one of my favorite fantasy books I've read (I'm not really a big fan of the genre). I found Amelia very likable and relatable (you know, except the part of her being a Vedeine and all). Your chapters are long but your w... view book

Hi Sammi, First of all, I'm really impressed with your "American" voice. Your dialogue was dead on! The only question is "Are you writing the whole book with American spelling or just the dialogue?" If so, "realised" should be realized. I've only read the first chapter so I don't know if there's... view book

Hi Bill, This is a really fun read! Margaret has a really great voice, very real and often humorous. Right from the beginning, my head was filled with questions, "Why did Freddie kill her best friend" and "Why are there so many toilets in heaven?" making me want to read on. Even the guy at the en... view book
