about me

I'm a Crime Scene Investigator and I work ridiculously long hours so am sporadically online and disappear for lengthy periods, as some of you will have noticed.

Belated thanks to those of you who read and commented on Witness - much appreciated and noted for the edit (which will happen, but we're not sure when...)

Meantime, I'm working on another piece which may well end up here at some point...for your entertainment!

Happy writing!

Hi Al, I realised as I started to read this that I'd delved into chapter 1 a few weeks ago but hadn't left you any comment! Sorry about that... I like this. It's got me guessing about everything that's going on with all the different characters and how it's all going to tie up at the end. I'm a... view book

Hi Grant, "As if by chance" has been sitting on my watchlist for ages and I've only just found time to comment on it - sorry! I have to say this drew me in straight away, despite a couple of editorial points (and I am the queen of dodgy editing myself so don't be discouraged by my comments! Y... view book

Hi Dave, I've only one issue with the crime scene bit - it's the middle of the night but you've got scene examiners dusting for prints. Maybe they do it different in America but we prefer daylight for forensic exams - unless you've got those amazing white light lamps that hurt your eyes...BUT havi... view book

Simon, SuperStar. I've only read one chapter but I'll be back for more! This is fabulous! Great concept! For some reason I've got images of Curious George in my head but that could be something to do with the fact that it's almost 2am... I will come back when I'm less tired and read more and g... view book

Hello Jack, I've come back and read the rest of "Underdogs" - thoroughly enjoyed it!!! In fact, I was disappointed when it ran out :-( It's so readable and the tension is really well worked. It's shaping up to be the kind of book I'd curl up on the sofa with - looking forward to reading more. ... view book
