about me

I started writing when I was five. Given, it was terrible, but that's the first time I knew that's what I wanted in life.
Now, over ten years later, I'm juggling college with writing. Not a good thing to do.
One novel down, and I'm trying to get published...hm.

I love reading and writing.
My biggest idols are Jodi Picoult and the band Panic! at the Disco. <3

That's about it.

Don't Look Back

Alex Morley

Can't you see, you belong to me?

Madison Fuller’s life is far from normal: as a fully trained doctor, she should be operating on people, not serving them cakes.
When a man enters the bakery one morning and doesn’t move until closing time, Maddie wonders what he’s about and why he is so interested with the place.
Little does she know, he is more than interested in her workplace.
Then, Maddie starts feeling something is wrong.
Wherever she goes and whatever she does, she feels it.
Until she finds out about Noah.

The Thorn in my Flesh

Alex Morley

Escaping captivity was just the beginning.

“My breathing speeds up as I slowly come to realise what is going on, why I’m here, why I’m bound up, why he’s attempting to be nice to me: I’ve been kidnapped.” My name is Farrah Fisher, and I was kidnapped for nine years. Even though I escaped, am back home, the nightmares of the long, torturous days I spent in captivity still haunt me. The secrets I buried won’t stay hidden for long, no matter how hard I dig. Even I know that. Jordan Frost is hailed ‘the best defence lawyer in the City’. But when he takes on the most complicated and mysterious case he’s ever had, will his reputation be destroyed? For Farrah, escaping captivity was just the beginning.

Hey! Thanks for the title help! :) So, the title made me think it was going to be historical - don't ask me why. So it was a wonder when I started reading the pitch that it wasn't...and then I began reading and it was an amazing surprise. I think you have managed to capture life in this estate... view book

Hey! The prologue is brilliant, it hooks you right in. The first sentence especially, direct address works really well here. I find the fact you don't properly introduce your character until chapter 2, because it entices the reader and keeps them wanting to find out more. I found myself wanting... view book

Hey David! Here for our read swap! So I liked the pitches and thought it'd be a good read. But honestly? I wasn't expecting THIS. Your writing is extraordinary, something to be inspired, your descriptions are vivid. The storyline itself is intriguing, and leaves me wanting more. It's exciting... view book

Hi Andrew, From the pitch of this book, I was pulled in. Chapter one - now, this is a brilliant periodically written piece, I must admit. Your writing style is so authentic. The ONE thing I would say, though, and this is merely a personal thing here, is some of sentences in the first chapter,... view book

Hey! I read the pitches, and I really wanted to read further! Writing - I think your writing is really, really amazing! Your word choices, descriptions....they are really inspired! Your characters are relatable and they feel real: you can imagine everything they do and say, and they've come ... view book
