about me

Not a writer by profession but a writer by passion. Born in a small, rural town of Greece, I grew up with books, books...and more books. My speaking is fluent but sometimes I can't avoid mistakes even a child wouldn't make. But I can write only in English. I can't write in Greek. It doesn't feel right.
I love reading and I've decided to get serious with writing after I went through the Golgotha of Ulysses - by James Joyce. And after I turned the last page, I found out that I was absolutely in love with the English language. And I've been trying to refine it ever since.

I thank each and everyone of you who bothered to either comment, back or watchlist my book - and all of you who left me a message. In the few days that I'm here, I have already pilled up a lot of books to read and leave a comment on. If you don't see me answering your request for comments or swap readings right away, please don't worry. I'm not ignoring anyone and I don't have the luxury to! Again, thanks for your kind support!

Up The Moonlight Hill

Ron. D. Geysser

A tiny, blue feather comes out of Sunday Lipman's drawing box. A journey to a world of fantasy begins just then.

This is the story of Sunday Lipman, a twelve year old girl with an unusual name and a usual life. When her father suffers a nearly fatal heart attack, the fragile bubble of security and comfort her family provides, breaks down. Sunday tries to find a way out, in a world that suddenly seems even more hostile. And she finds it. Unfortunately, it's not what she hoped for.

Just a small comment, Suzie, on technical stuff, since the plot, the narrative and the characters are spot on, There are many things an agent, an editor or a publisher hate, but there is one particular thing that really urks the living s**t out of them: Swifties and saidbookisms. Here's a swifty a... view book

I light a Camel, fix me a highball of Four Roses-no ice-...here's my comment. STORYLINE: Sailed through like a breeze. Strong, witty, great. CHARACTERS: Dare to change even a dot, and you die! ;) DIALOGUE: Here's the real minefield. I would know, I stepped on a few mines myself. Namely, SAIDBOOKIS... view book

I can imagine it in a play - with J.M.Barrie's ghost hovering somewhere above the first rows, smiling happily. A few typos but that's small potatoes, really. For your target group it's a joy. For big boys like me...unfortunately, most of us have lost that fairy dust. And I'm so pleased to see a book... view book

I've just finished all four chapters. You should really keep going. Lovely pace, powerfull characters, attention to detail. I must confess; I am a fantasy type of guy. I'll be honest and say that it's not the type of book I would buy. Having said that, I am just one. There are millions of people out... view book
