Brilliant...well paced...smooth prose that delights the reader...well drawn characters... the only possible nit pick is that Stonefish your MC, is written in the 1st person POV, meaning he's the writer. this seems to conflict with the POV the other characters are written in. The prose is excellent, but the description of the weather and scenery outside somehow pull the work down. (It’s beautiful, yes, paints a vivid picture; however, it doesn’t help the story along.
