A story of a young woman who learns to rebuild life and herself when seeking refuge in America after leaving her home, Iran.
Nas' most fondest memory of home were pre-revolution Iran, when the Shah ruled and the Western world was the golden world. As life happens and war breaks out, Nas escapes to the golden world, leaving her husband and all that she knows behind to begin a life in suburbia, New Jersey. A representation of a strong yet sensitive woman who represents all the things an obedient Iranian woman is not supposed to be, her story is one of constant conflict, internal, personal and emotional. There is no happy ending to life except in acceptance of what it is and not what it was supposed to be and in the ability to find happiness in things outside of our standards.
