Violet is not normal. She used to be, but that changed. She changed, in the most irreversable way possible. She's not human any more.
Violet Manson was a normal girl with a normal family. Then the world got knocked upside-down. When the world was attacked by renegade vampires and werewolves, we had to adapt fast. Most of the supernatural community was on our side, but the few that weren't were trying to get rid of us as soon as possible.
Finally, all of the rebels have been put down, except for one. Josh Coleman is still on the run, and has changed Violet into one of his own kind, a vampire. She is saved from Josh by another vampire, Caleb, and is trying to live through the average life of a teenager now. She has enemies, friends, and crushes, just like every normal girl, but now she has to deal with being one of the elite (and feared) on top of the normal hormones and problems of a teenager.
Violet lives with fear and guilt, hiding it with a cynical, but tender, demeanor. Follow her deal with inner conflict, and attacking forces that she can't always keep a guard up against.
