I am an Australian who has settled in the UK and acquired British nationality, a husband, two children and five grand children. I am a teacher (of Piano, Singing and English) and writer of music and theatre reviews for the local press. I also write a regular column for our local magazine. I run a ladies' choir and spend holidays at my Spanish flat writingand enjoying the sun, sand and the sea.

An interesting story. I glanced at the first chapter and the scene is well set. Her relationship with the deceased very strongly portrayed. I wonder if some to the language could be 'tightened'? e.g. 'having come in to catch up on some work' - is this really necessary? (but who am I to comment!?)... view book
You write very well - I'm envious. The way you introduce your book with fixation on a particular car is a great idea and I also like the way you carefully lead us into the story and make us curious about what it is all about. view book
