about me

My name is Alison. I have managed to finish my first book (phew!) for children. It was started about six years ago. Yes really, it took a while to simmer in my head. I put down the manuscript, edited it and forgot about it more than once. That is an understatement of course. Now at last it is done. There's pictures too. It looks something like a picture/illustrated chapter book for 6 to 8 year olds. I hope that You will have the opportunity to read it here at authonomy...I will be introducing the title here soon.
Likewise I am happy to delve into the book reading club soon enough. Watch this space. Happy to be here!
Something about me is that I love to be knee deep in mud,
but only if I am wearing wellies. I draw, paint and play the violin but not all at the same time. My dog keeps me sane
but he doesn't know that. Looking forward to getting to know something about you too......
