about me

I live in a little house in the woods in Minnesota, along with my daughter and husband. My book, Grow It. Eat It., a gardening book with recipes, won the U.S. national Ben Franklin Award. I also write a newspaper column the second Thursday of the month at sctimes.com.

Thanks to all who have commented on my work. I am too busy to be a full participating member of this site, but I hope to pop back now and then to see what's happening.

This is one of the few reads where I haven't had to "work" to keep myself reading. The style flows easily, and the characters and their relationships are interesting and propel the plot forward. I can see best-selling potential. Backed. view book
