about me

I'm absolutely enthralled with the paranormal, so sci-fi/fantasy books are usually what I end up writing. I find it much more interesting to read a story that goes beyond what you can see in the everyday world, but is realistic enough to relate to.

I would really like to make a career of writing, and I'm very interested in finding an agent and/or publisher. (klvetovich@gmail.com)

Constructive criticism of my stories is very welcome as I know I'm not perfect, and I'd like to give readers the very best possible quality in my books.

The three Enya books were self published in 2006, but my latest story, The Resistance, has not been published yet, so any advice would be appreciated and very useful. Thank you in advance!

The Resistance

KristaLyn A. Vetovich

A melodramatic dictator from another dimension is coming to this world. She’s bringing an army, a plan, and...her worst enemy?

Reina and Braeden were born on the same day, at the same time. They come from opposite ends of the spectrum of their world, Braeden the spoiled son of the eccentric dictator Desdemona, and Reina the daughter of two humble members of the Resistance fighting a losing battle against Des’ control. A mild case of insanity led the members of the Resistance to declare Reina their Chosen One, and from then on she was trained to finish their war for them.

Over the next eighteen years Reina and Braeden, who was assigned to deal with the Resister nuisance by his mother played cat and mouse, dancing around the ultimate goal that was forced upon them: to destroy each other and decide the victor of the war that was already lost.

When Des decides to take her dominion to another dimension Reina is invited along for several reasons. Not willing to allow another world to fall to dust, Reina accepts.

But what happens when Braeden decides to revolt in a spoiled act of rebellion against his mother, and an “Earth Two” family worms their way into Reina’s heart, will she be able to save them all?

Enya's Judgment

KristaLyn A. Vetovich

The final installment of the Enya Trilogy brings war, peace, and end of life as both Enya, Aiden, and the world know it.

War is now inevitable. The word is out that fairies exist, and Viktor has placed himself at the head of the human forces, manipulating them and convincing them that the fairies intend to take over their world. A new prejudice arises as people mindlessly believe what they are told without proof.

Now, Aiden, who is hiding in Enya’s apartment to avoid Viktor and protect his family, must decide if he will side with the fairies who have done nothing wrong, or remain loyal to his own species. Strange thoughts distort Aiden’s perception of the fairies, and he begins to wonder just how innocent Enya and her kind really are.

To settle Aiden’s confusion, Sage steps in, and when Enya is captured by Viktor asks Aiden to allow Enya a very awkward favor: to share his consciousness in order to help the fairies free Viktor’s other slaves. Aiden and Enya agree to coexist until Enya can be freed, but something goes wrong. Before she can escape, Viktor links Enya’s final life to his own so the fairies are caught in a stalemate. Now Enya and her companions must find a way to stop Viktor without killing Enya.

Enya's Shadow

KristaLyn A. Vetovich

In the sequel to Enya's Light, Aiden turns his attention to his mother whom he cannot believe committed suicide, ensnaring Enya in the process.

With his father safely returned, Aiden has begun focusing on the other void in his life: his mother. He cannot conceive that such a woman would resort to suicide, and a cryptic message does nothing to lessen his curiosity. When Enya suddenly appears on his doorstep, he sees an opportunity and seizes it, using the fairy rules against Enya so that she is forced to help him despite the problems that have arrived in her own life below the Earth’s surface.

Enya was finally finishing a three-month probation so generously given to her by the council as punishment for her aiding the humans, and life was extremely boring, so she took to checking in on Aiden through her race’s clever mirror technology and was given the honor of training a quiet new agent named Lonnit, but the mundanity ended there. One night, Enya’s new apartment was broken into by a pixie with plans to kidnap Enya. Enya escaped and fled to Reiche Mansion with hopes of hospitality, but instead she receives servitude and a cold.

With Enya’s trust in Aiden depleted, the relentless pixie still on her tail, malfunctioning magic, and Aiden’s mother’s mystery to solve...who is Viktor?

Enya's Light

KristaLyn A. Vetovich

Enya's Light is a story of fantasy colliding with some of life's harshest realities, with just a touch of faith to save the day.

Enya Polaris is a sprite among fairies whose upbringing has lead her where few other fairies would dare follow.
Thanks to her free-thinking family, she has deviated from the accepted religion and the fairies' most coveted law:
to avoid humans at all costs, a law that came into effect after the tragic death of Enya's own family, the founders
of UTOPIA, an agency previously devoted to reuniting the two species but since recommitted to ensuring their paths
never, ever cross.

Aiden Rieche has suffered a most difficult tragedy. His father disappeared driving his mother to suicide. His
father returned and was immediately committed to the Happy Hollow Insane Asylum leaving Aiden with only his late
mother's closest friend to watch over him, former FBI agent, Derek Smith. Aiden is unconvinced that his father is
truly insane, so to prove his father's preposterous claim of being rescued by a small group of fairies Aiden plans
to capture one and expose the creature to the government, thereby earning back his family's dignity.

What does this mean for Enya when she is finally allowed on her first mission: locating a human who is too close to
discovering the fairy race?

I like your writing style. The words you choose are great, and I love that you don't waste time letting us know where things stand for the characters. Backed! view book

I found the beginning of this story extremely interesting with the Angel of Death, and then Angelina takes it in a completely direction, but the element of mystery doesn't fade. Great story! view book

I really like the span of time in this story and the history mentioned. It really keeps my attention. I like Amalia a lot. She's got a mysterious air about her. Backed. view book

I really like your story! Gerard's personality is made very clear in the first chapter, and the reader can relate to him immediately. Reading his perspectives of Ruth even made me feel a bit paranoid! Backed. view book
