about me

I published my first novel last year - Bound By Birth through Createspace. Though I know it needs some editing, it has been getting great reviews. I have sold about 150 copies so far but dream of finding a publisher. It is available on Createspace, Amazon and many other sites. It is also available for ebook download on Amazon Kindle, Kobo and Smashwords.

After a long corporate career, I am trying hard to make a living as an author - a love of mine since I was young. I am working on my second and third novels.

I am seeking representation by an agent or publisher.

All comments and critques are welcomed as they make me better and I so want to improve my writing.

I want to thank you all who have read, commented and backed my book. Having gone the POD route, I have not had the advantage of a good editor. I was able to really clean up the first four chapter thanks to your comments. I have edited it and it is much improved. Those that leave comments for me get priority followed by those that have backed, then requests.

PLEASE NOTE:

I am commited to looking at everyone's book that have backed me and/or commented. The volume is growing, so please be patient with me. I am able to do about five a day.

Sure I'd like to get to the ED, or close enough to get noticed by an agent or publisher, but please try and provide comments as this is what I find most valuable.

If I have invited you more than once to read Bound By Birth, I apologize. Can't really keep track of it all. I am campaigning for comments that will help me get better.

Bound By Birth

Randall R. Wheeler

Readers who enjoy fast-paced thrillers will think twice before signing up on social media sites. A story as compelling as the latest headlines.

After decades in “Corporate America,” Paul, his wife and two young boys take the leap and move away from the hectic rat race of the northeast to begin a new life in the Florida Keys, a life free of long commuting, never-ending deadlines, clawing and scratching and working for “The Man." This new life is built on dreams of running a successful business built from the ground up. A better quality of life focused on family and love. A life they can call their own.

But even the best laid plans can unknowingly allow a twisted and tortured mind to creep in. Acquaintances made on an internet social group, even when common interests bind the group members together like pregnancy and the birth of children, uncover a psychopath bent on assuming another's life that they feel rightfully belongs to them - and nothing will stand in the way - not even being Bound By Birth.

Very well done Barbara. Enchanting, captivating and enjoyable. Great pace (love the short paragraphs) and the addition of the AIW lines blend in seamlessly. Very fun to read. Great job. Randy Bound By Birth www.randallwheeler.com view book

Good story Denise. It tugs at the heart and easy to get immersed in the situation. The use of italicized thoughts is powerful. Good job - keep going! Back because I believe it hs potential. Randy Bound By Birth www.randallwheeler.com view book
