British, retired, married, father of two, grandfather of two. Living in a village near Norwich. Been writing novels since 2003. Some sales of short stories, publication of non-fiction article on BBC website, some success in Writing Magazine competitions.
Until recently, a member of the RNA (Romantic Novelists' Association). Founder member of a local group of writers, Wednesday Wordsmiths, which sprang from a series of Creative Writing courses at the UEA (University of East Anglia)

Rom-Coms by Sue Welfare/Gemma Fox, Judy Astley
'Mainstream' books by Mary Wesley - particularly "Harnessing Peacocks" for some reason (might have something to do with the vision of Serena Scott-Thomas in the leading role, wearing a red hat and nothing else, in the TV movie, Cor...)

Hi, Lexi Chapter 1 - very gripping stuff. Drags the reader in and keeps him reading. Just two things I'd like to mention: "...a seedling of panic unfurled below my diaphragm."
