about me

I've removed my book as i achieved what I wanted from the site -which was constructive criticism. Having revised it I'm trying my luck with agents -again! I've read a lot of good material in the last six weeks and there appear to be masses of books on Authonomy deserving of publication. I suppose we shouldn't be too disheartened if we don't achieve it. At least Authonomy provides an important opportunity for real feedback and all these books (well at least the pitch and intro) are being read. Best of luck to all. PhilMc

YES. Like the thesis and the homage to Catalonia. Very pacey and human. Happy to back. PhilMc, Deep state. view book

Hi Barry, Where to start? Straight off I'll be honest and say I haven't the time to give an in depth review as some of your readers have so generously done. Your opening is quite remarkable. But I think people tell you that. I've stayed in all the major Indian cities and also spent a lot of time in ... view book

Hi Sarah, Very clever stuff. I was a bit unsure of the opening chapter, even though very well written. it confused me at first having read your excellent pitch. I wonder if you might either introduce it after ch 2, so the reader has already been captivated or change the title to 'Purple Haze-how it ... view book

Mandi, Liked it, backed it. Not quite my genre but immediately drawn in. No mucking about here is there! Very clear, very direct intro. Quick characterisation. very good. Philmc Deep state view book
