about me

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. Please feel free to read, comment and critique my book.

A bit about me - I live in a lovely town in New Zealand with my husband. I'm a bit of an adventurous sort with a love of the outdoors and with a very active imagination. I love tramping, camping, four-wheel driving and caving as well as writing and gardening.

I'm a bit slower on the book writing front (and also being on here) as I have a 3 month old son who keeps me very very busy.

I have been an avid book reader ever since I was a little girl and decided I would try my hand at writing a novel. I love many types of genre but love fantasy the most - probably because of my imagination...

Just a little note: over the past 24 hours, I've been inundated with requests to read other authors books. I joined this site to get constructive feedback on my book and I am not busy trying to get to the editors desk. I happier trying to improve, grow and develop my writing skills instead and hopefully create a well written book. I want to offer comments that are constructive, helpful and only promote books that I believe are worthy of this honour, not just anyone. Because of this, I won't be responding to emails that look like spam as I don't have time to wade through hundreds of books, offering up nice PC comments and adding them to my bookshelf just so I can get ahead. Hopefully this doesn't offend, I understand that some books are ready for the editors desk and I wish you all the best but I know I'm not so I'm not even trying. I am very busy and I want to spend my time wisely so both you and I can get the most out of this site.

Thanks heaps!

Joyanna

The Prince and The Sorcerer

J G Winn

A magical tale of kings, curses and a prince who is destined to change the future and heal the past.

A magical tale of ancient kings, curses and Sarus, a Muirdin prince, who's destined to change the future but will it be good or bad? For three hundred years the land of Muirdin was held captive by a curse that tore a family apart and divided a nation. With the birth of each new prince one resounding question echoed throughout the land; Is this the one? Prince Sarus grew up unaware of the history surrounding his family until he discovered a scroll that changed his destiny and catapulted him into a raging war between good and evil. While fighting an enemy he knows little about, with creatures he has no choice but to trust, it isn’t long before he realizes both his life, and the lives of many other in Muirdin, depend his success. Can Sarus defeat the Sorcerer before the curse destroys him and country he loves is thrown into a war they are certain to lose?
