about me

Stephen Johnson is a father of two who enjoys writing, painting, and flying. He began The Lost Cactus late 2008, and the sequel in 2009. He finished both books in 2010 and began the third; due for completion in 2011. The fourth book should be completed by late 2011, or early 2012. All the books run concurrently.

The books are light hearted in nature, and are aimed at the maturing teenager who is looking for that next step from YA, as well as the commuter who wants a giggle on the way home.

Book one: covers the battle against Dagaurin and is a story in itself.
Books 2-4 are a trilogy.
Books 5-6 are planned as a Duology.

DJ Nice work here. I like the prologue, short and sets the hook deep. The next chapter begins well with the fall from the building, though I had to re-read the bit after the tramp...seemed that you sped the story to quickly, so that you're then dreaming...and I wanted to know more about the tra... view book

Ana I have read and enjoyed what you've written, but I would suggest that you need to shorten your sentences by some considerable amount. This may be a personal thing with me, but I've noticed it's been mentioned before. May I suggest that you read it to someone and you'll start to realise what... view book

Sandra My thoughts on your book. Please take with a pinch of cliche, a dash of "sod off you unpublished writer!" and a smattering of "that's as much use as a turnip to a mechanic." Chapter 1 The dream I like, the amount of "i was doing this...I then did this...I then did something else...e... view book

Miles, My thoughts on your book. These should be taken with salt, a pinch of cliche and then discarded as they are probably as much use to a penguin as a parka. Anyway, for what their worth: Prologue: Simply very, very good. I love the way you broke down XYZ, and then introduce the 14in... view book
