about me

I am a literature and creative writing student from Union Institute and University located in Montpelier, Vermont. I graduate in the spring of 2012 and write in any free time I may have. Since I do studies at Union Institute instead of take traditional 3 or 4 credit classes, I often try to integrate creative writing into my study. In my last semester I studied Sumerian history, literature, and mythology. I have done a study in linguistics (the origins of oral language) as well as a study in the foundations of education, which includes ethics of education, progressive approaches to education, multi-cultural aspects of education, and the history of education. In my next semester I hope to do a study on young adult fiction or in the mechanics of publishing. My final culminating study will either be a study in creative writing or a memoir of my mother's stories that I was told as a child.
