about me

THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED SNOWFLAKE OVER MY TIME ON AUTHONOMY. YOUR KIND COMMENTS GAVE ME STRENGTH TO KEEP GOING AND YOUR KIND BACKINGS MADE THE GOLD STAR POSSIBLE!

Author: Computer programmer. Objective: Writing a novel. Topic: Modern technology, computing crime. Tools: Software, blog and muse. Target: Book reader.

Guess that says it all. I’m a software developer and in my line of work this is a perfectly viable description. I already write software code. Now all I’m going to do is re-program my brain to write novels. Should be easy, right? Ehm… first rule of programming: "Never believe a statement that contains the word easy…"

I’ve been on Authonomy for a while now, so here’s some extra info:

- I always return reads. It might take a few days, but I will get round to your book. If I don’t, please do remind me.

- I am not a native English speaker so it doesn’t feel right to nit-pick other people’s grammar ( how can I ever be sure that I’m correct :-) ). I am, however, a constant reader so my comment will be a reader’s comment.

- I might not comment on the book if I feel I can’t add anything new or useful, but I will back if I liked what I’ve read.

Congressman Clark knows he must pay for his mistakes. What he doesn’t realize is that his ten-year-old daughter has decided to do it for him.

You are the target. Your computer is the weapon. No matter what you do, your actions will be used against you.

Congressman Leo Clark understands that his actions must lead to consequences and when he gets the first blackmail, the question he’s asking is not Why, but How. How do they know? How much do they know? And how can he protect himself and his family?

After Leo Clark disappears following the kidnapping of his wife, the question FBI agents are asking is: How much of what’s happening is done by the blackmailers and how much is the Congressman Clark’s exit strategy.

With the disappearance of both her parents, ten-year-old Amanda Clark watches the world crumble around her. She has no questions, only a conviction that her father has done nothing wrong. There is not much she can do, but when the chance to find the truth arises, she takes it, not realizing how many people she’s putting at risk. Not realizing that her own life is now at stake.

In the world where computers hold the keys to human lives, don’t let yours fall into the wrong hands.

Snowflake is complete at 85,000 words.

It’s been years since I read fantasy full time (until I joined this site, that is). The Shard brought back all those feelings of wonder and excitement that made it my favourite genre in my teens. Your writing is beautiful and I don’t just mean the words you use. It’s beautiful in the way it creates ... view book

This is great writing indeed: gritty, violent, emotional and most importantly authentic. Your characterisation is flawless. Your dialogue really brings each scene and each character to life. The pacing is perfect for the story: it keeps the reader on the edge, while still allowing time to bond with ... view book

His Pride, Her Prejudice is an absolutely charming story written in the best traditions of historical romance. You manage brilliantly to convey the period atmosphere in your writing, that kind of atmosphere that makes me want to go back in time and experience the life as it used to be, even if just ... view book

Amazing and totally brilliant! It looks like I’ve found another little gem for my to-buy-once-they’re-published collection :) I love satire in its own right, but you’ve mixed it up with some great imagination and got us a cocktail of Theofiscal humour infused with laughter and laced with perceptive ... view book

I love Freckles the fawn and I love your writing. Technically this story is very accomplished and there’s nothing I could fault even if I tried very hard, but why would I? You tell such a lovely tale in such a lovely voice, that all I want to do is read and enjoy. I think children of all generations... view book
