about me

I ride horses. (Dressage, Polocrosse, and Eventing)
I am a HB in the United States Pony Club
I live somewhere in the US.
I have one cat and 3 horses I own, two that I am training.
I have a bunch of old stories on Fiction Press under the username Anehalia if you want to read some of my other writing.
I am an Army Brat.

I am also extremely paranoid. I don't mind people asking me to read or back there book, but if I read a creepy spam email, then I will report it.

At the moment I am editing the ms for my story In The Absence of Light. I am creating a list of all people that have asked me to read their books, and I will read them in the order I was asked after I finish editing my ms.

Here is my current reading list. Once your book is read, it will disappear from the current reading list. I am working on making a list of books read.

In the Absence of Light

Francesca Huber

A girl hosts the darkness, and the woman who emerges is forged by her experiences as host to the dark energies of the goddess.

There are 26 goddess and 26 gods that follow the spectrum from light to darkness. Each goddess has her match. A city is host to the Lady of Light who teaches healing and the Lady of the Absence of Light who teaches fighting. The city though is slowly falling under the corruption of its Lord who prefers the foreigners to the people who are native to the city. The Gods and Goddesses are being forgotten in the face of greed. Dyrana is the host to the Dark Lady, and she is the first to survive the experience with her mind intact and able to harness the energy left by the goddess. Other things aren't intact though, like love. She cannot love another person. Darin is a temple guard of the Dark God. The Dark God told him that he was meant to be with Dyrana, and it is up to him to convince her that love can still exist. The world is changing, and war is on the horizon. Can love survive in the face of war and darkness?

As a Catholic first grade Sunday school teacher, I can tell you that this would be a great book for adolescent girls to read. The main problem is the girl's that need this advice won't read it, and the one's that do read it would be the one's who are close to God already. In Sunday school I am alrea... view book

This is a wonderful tale, and I definitely enjoyed reading the story of Bastion and his friends. It is definitely written with children in mind, but it seems to be closer to a middle school age group or young kids that learn to read quickly. I will definitely support this book on it journey to the t... view book

I can definitely hear your character speaking out in this story, but I have no involvement with the character except a slight disgust for his feelings. I can understand why the character feels this way, but at the same time I dislike him. I think your writing is good, your story is good, and you hav... view book

I think you have a wonderful idea for a story here, but I have a few comments that you might want to think about when you go back and edit. Number one, your story is littered in grammatical errors and typos. I didn't bother to go through and mention each one, but I can assure you that there were... view book

I read the first chapter, and I might try to red more to see if it does become different, but right now it is too similar to Harry Potter for me. I really dislike reading stories similar to other stories, and I often get bored because I feel like I already know the ending. The things that make it si... view book
