Two Men, Two Weddings, a Sheep and a Revolution...

Jess needs to have some fun. And she desperately needs a holiday. Little does she know a simple joke on Facebook will lead her to a life-altering adventure of a lifetime.
Finding it difficult to trust since her ex-husband cheated on her, she now faces a choice between dashing Paul with whom she's been in love for years but who has given her so little, until now; and her young, gorgeous Facebook friend, Fedi who impresses her with his kind loving nature and quiet optimism.
Her friends think she's insane flying to Tunisia to meet a man from Facebook, but Jess already knows she's crazy; she's inherited it from her mother.
There are laughs as well as tears as Jess embarks on the most romantic and exciting year of her life.

The Hummingbirds Return

Deborah Aldrich Farhi

Georgia's intense journey to discover the answers to her past culminates in the most important day of her life.

Georgia wants to find her birth parents. After years of living in England, she returns, with her four year old daughter to the farm in Massachusetts where she grew up. she's come to visit her mother and her aging grandmother who is obsessed with hummingbirds she calls her guardian angels.
Georgia is convinced she's reconciled her past and has no unresolved issues. But things inevitably surface. And after nearly seven years of thinking of Kasper, a Polish immigrant and her English student, more than she does her husband, she wonders if she is actually capable of real love.
Completely engrossed in searching for her birth parents, she nearly loses more than she gains when little Poppy goes missing in the woods.

In one word: Ingenius! Love it. I started out in the first chapter critiquing, not that I found much to critique. There was just what I thought was redundant line: "Little Snow White was quite pretty as she grew up..." After that I got too drawn in to bother with looking for nit pickies. This has to... view book

I love the way your first chapter begins and ends with the quotes from Ole Lang Syne- that works great! The story really drew me in; what an enjoyable read! I thought there was too much information about Karen, from Dawn's perspective at the beginning of CH2. For me it became more interesting with... view book

I love poetry and those of yours I've read so far invoke so much emotion while remaining simplistic enough in style to be enjoyable to read!!! OH! And the reference to Splinker- haha! view book

This is honest, insightful and very engaging. You have a wonderful matter of fact style that makes the writing flow. The only suggestion for change that I can make at this stage (have only read through end ch 2 so far) is that I didn't feel the beginning of Ch 2 was adding anything to the story. For... view book
