about me
Satwant Sandhu was born in March 1968 in Walsall, England, to Indian immigrant parents. The family migrated down to Southall in London while Sat spent four years in Shivalik Public Boarding School in Chandigarh, India (from the age of four to eight).
After his return to England he excelled in all things computing related. He graduated in 1989 with an honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Kent, at Canterbury, and then progressed to a successful career in software development, mostly in the Investment Banking industry in London.
On the eve of his 20th year in IT Sat was made redundant from RBS during the credit crunch crisis (2009). This gave him and his wife the opportunity to travel the world and for Sat to focus his attention on his writing ambitions.
It was during their travels that Sat found the time to finally write his first novel, "Spirit".
"Spirit" is the first of three books that make up the "Dragon Crown Series", which has been over a decade in the planning. The time and energy spent on the "Dragon Crown Series", along with Sat's colourful life promises to make this series a tale of epic proportions that will undoubtedly stand out from the crowd.
"Spirit" was self-published on Amazon (paperback and Kindle editions) in December 2010, but Sat is still hunting for that elusive publishing deal so that his work hits the mass-market.
