about me

Many, many thanks to the many, many members here who helped shatter all site records in voting BOT onto the Ed Desk in only 40+ days. WOOT--it could not have been done without your generous support, and I'm both pleased and proud you liked the novel that much!

BOT is/was a 2012 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award semifinalist - view BOT 2012 version and all news concerning this title @ www.GoodBotBadBot.blogspot.com

*The complete novel is also available to download for a very limited time (this season only). Use the Amazon link below. to find it for your Kindle. (Nope, it isn't FREE and ain't gonna be. Sorry.)

MAY 2012: Since BOT received its gold medal from HarperCollins-UK, I've gotten a couple of offers for it, most recently a fairly generous movie/merchandising deal, which included a gaming app (yum). It is not out of greed, (I swear) but due to other less than ideal terms that no contract has been accepted to date. Therefore, all rights to this novel remain intact and available as of the date of this writing. Interested parties be advised, I hate to negotiate and/or quibble---please send your best offer first if you want me to sign it!

FYI: My current project is an investigative piece now complete at 41,000 words and classified under True Crime - Serial Murder. (visit http://KillingKillers.blogspot.com for a preview.)

THE BLOODING, by Joseph Wambaugh (Cuz I gotta penchant for truth and justice, be it lodged in a work that's fact-based or cleverly disquised as fiction.)

Otherwise, I'm a reader on a number of sites like this one and promote the Indies for FREE at the website listed below. On Authonomy I mainly try to assist others with good books in getting to the Ed Desk which means those with that goal take priority when it comes to shelving. Also, If I back your work here and/or plug it on my site, I do expect you to honestly promote it as well. Please note, however, I will not support anyone who is abusive in any way to other members, no matter how talented they *think* they are.

READING PREFERENCES: Totally eclectic. I fall for strong prose and a good story line, in that order respectively. Fellow readers, please lend your kind support to the excellent books on my shelf.

P.S. Yep, I'm accepting friend requests. I'd rather have pen pals than a tidy message center!

Don Quixote on wi-fi and steroids:

An elusive humanoid robot gone zombie from an infected hard drive lures a renegade veteran bot-cop, hell bent on collecting his bounty, into an epic battle of wits and a mind blowing journey of self discovery that will stretch across what has now become America's great desert basin.

(Based on real events...that haven't happened yet.)

*This is (more or less) the 2011 version currently on the Editor's Desk. There is still no HC written critique as of the last book update on 24 January 2012. Interested readers can find the new & improved 2012 edition of BOT, as well as other cool stuff, at http://GoodBotBadBot.blogspot.com - I will also post HC's feedback there when and if it arrives. (This novel is complete @ just under 60,000 words.)

Featured 'The Alienating Ambassador' on my webbie today, Melissa, in the Sci-Fi section. Blogged about it from there as well, so tweet that post if yer a Twitter member. (You can find a hot link to the site on my Authonomy profile page.) Best of luck -- E.R. view book

'The Alienating Ambassador' is a GREAT title, Melissa. Excellent pitch you've penned, too. That, plus a wholly competent writing style, makes the novel a potential winner for the YA market, IMHO. I'm reading on and would love to see the cover for this so I can promote the work on my website soon. ... view book
