about me

I know, having three books (more or less) underway at the same time is a dumb idea. I've put a link to a special youtuber in my websites section.

I've jus come back from France, after having an awsome time! I went with some friends, and we had a great laugh! So much, it inspired me to write a teenage love story, set in France. How unfortunate though; I'm awful at French... It's called Cheese and Chocolate. I hope to include some of the sarcastic French jokes, that I used whilst on holiday. Yeah...

I plan to work on, whilst writing: Meihi Hiders, and Devon Queen of the Seagulls.

I'm only planning it now, but it has many plot holes at the moment, that I need to work on. The series will be called The Spirit Master Series, and it has a mix of themes from previous books of mine (that failed.) I'd hate to give too much away about this series.

I need some advice: in my book Harsh Hearted, should I merge chapters 7 and 8 together, because technically they both explain about Meihi's life with Goloagoth. To vote yes or no, please place as comments for Harsh Hearted. It is recommned that you read through those chapters, before voting.

Also, I look forward to any other advice, critisism, or comments in gernal, that you have to offer. Thanks again, for stopping by!

I do writing in my spare time, and I really want to get better. I can also draw exceptionally well. I'm very creative, but still, I love to learn new things.

I like animals, good calm music/songs with good lyrics, romance/adventure stories, and I like empowered women stories such as Jane Eyre. I'm usually inspired, by my family, friends. I am often inspired to write a story from a dream I've recently had.

I can easily admit the fact that I am a little odd, but I really don't care; I'm happy with the way I am. I can be a little cheeky in the use of my sarcasm.

I just enjoy living life to the full. And finding time to help others, and enjoy lifes moments. I will do anything to fulfull my goal in life even if it takes me forever! My goal in life is...

CLASSIFIED

So you know, I encourage comments. Mostly because I would like a bit of feedback, and I like hearing from others. Mainly because it gets a little lonely on authonomy; I like talking to people.

And just a little UPDATE to all my fans out there (if any):

I thank you all for not only stopping by, to view my profile page, but for anyone who backed my book / commented, thank you very much!

I happen to be VERY, INSANELY BUSY with writing, a new book called Devon; Queen of the Seagulls. It's a teenage diary entry, about a girl who is shipwrecked on an island, within a danger zone known as the Bremuda Triangle.

Her mother died in the shipwreck accident, and his separated from her father and brother. She is wandering the island, and is greeted by another teenage survivor of a previous shipwreck.

I plan to talk about her life as she grows up, and into an adult on the island. I plan to talk about her love interests, her relationships, her career, and the role she fills on the Maramammi Isles.

Wish me luck : )

F.YI.: I'll only back your book if I like it, or see potential in it. I don't go around, backing random books, that I don't like AT ALL! There needs to be something good, I can say about it, if I back it / comment on it.

Things I like: cherries, cats, horror movies and just pure randomness... That's me!

Things I dislikes: brocoli, politics, business men, and frost (but I love snow because of the odd snow day!!!)

favourite books

My favourite books include: the Mokee Joe trilogy (but my favourite is Mokee Joe: Doomsday Tail), Secret of the Sirens, Lion County, Dolphin in the Deep, Theif, Wolf at the Window, but my all time favourite has got to be Jane Eyre, the complete original and unabridged version, by Charlotte Bronte!

Harsh Hearted: The legacy of M....

Kayleigh Hardwick

Set in ancient China, Harsh Hearted tells the story of a courageous child called, Meihi Hiders. From birth to death, her life is the legend.

Meihi is a rejected child, living amongst the bamboo forest, with her wild, unforgiving family. She is abused by her brother, and stepsister, and neglected by her mother, and sisters. Meihi is forced into making a rash decision, which almost ends her life. Luckily she is saved, and adopted by a kind man named Goloagoth.

Goloagoth introduces Meihi to the well mannered and disciplined young Tanlee. They become close friends, as they study martial arts together, under the teachings of Goloagoth, whilst finding the time to drive Meihi's ex teacher (Master Hyso) insane.

The two create mischeif, as their friendship slowly grows. However they are separated by fate, leaving Tanlee emotionally pained. His heart feels as though it will never recover from losing his one true friend...

Meihi is left fighting to save the Kuloon Bamboo Forest from the Tyrant that threatens to take over the land, whilst Tanlee becomes the intelligent, wise, and strong leader of Blossom Valley. But when Meihi's life is put in danger, and Goloagoth requests to see her one last time, will she make it back to Blossom Valley alive, or will she be too late?

Will Tanlee and Meihi ever meet again?

The Heart of the Smilodon

Kayleigh Hardwick

Gemini was once a happy cub, separated from her family, she grows up, and must learn to build her own pride of proud Smilodon's.

A prehistoric tale of having to survive on your own, as a fearless wild cat, that has grown up more like a housecat than the fierce predator that you really are. Gemini was once a proud dignifed cub in a small family of sabre toothed cats (Smilodons), but now she's more like the guarding 'watchdog' than the feared sabre tooth cat she is.

Able to fight off an invasion of threats, yet unable to fight and kill for her own prey, Gemini seems like a wimp when she's released back into the wild, and is forced to fend for herself. Gemini runs into her astranged sister and brothers; ones that she'd never met. Despartley seeking an adult, the cubs bond with their older sister quickly, and Gemini's problems double, as she has to take care of her three younger siblings, and protect herself at the same time.

With some help from a male sabre toothed Smilodon (to provide Gemini with protection), will she be able to bond with him during the gathering of sabres at Sabre Tooth Ridge, in order to create a new pride, whilst avoiding dangerouse hazards along their journey across the African Plains?

Kayleigh Hardwick

Edward Westlake is a wealthy man living in the colourful English countryside. Until one night while out on a walk, he's tossed through space and time into the 21st century.

Weakened, and unaware as to what happened to him, Edward is ready to die on the roads, however a country girl named Rebecca, whilst walking her dog Twix, finds him and offers to help him.

When he's nursed back to health, Edward is quick to recognise the remarkable changes in, well... Everything! He's frantic at first, but he soon grows use to this new time, and he begins to trust Rebecca

Rebecca and him move to California, along with Rebecca's friend Lisa who seems to take a shine to Edward, whom later learns that Lisa is a distant relative of his own brother.

Edward's trust for Rebecca develops into feelings, as he tries to unravel the secrets of Rebecca's childhood. Meanwhile, Rebecca reads a diary she found, that once belonged to her great great great grandmother. She learns of Edwards past, as she begins to realise his spite.

Soon Edward will declare his feelings, but will she accept his desparate pleas?

May I start by saying, YOUR BOOK IS HUGE! Considering the number of chapters. It makes myself as a writer intimidated, so it's hard to compete. I have always been told to keep my writing short, but personally I don't see the reason for limitations on a book! A book is free writing, and I am glad tha... view book

Hello Kevin, As I said, I would get back to reading this, and over th past few weeks I have found it hard to keep that promise, but luckily I have found some time to read a little more of your story. I only just realised that you have used your name for the name of your main character. Clever. ... view book

Hello Kevin. I like your idea very much; I am often one to write about Gods, Humans, and Demons ect. I really think this book has potential. I think children would love reading a book like this because it's quite short (since it only has nine chapters and roughly 50, 000 words) It reminds me of ... view book

Hi there, I've taken a look at SOME of your writing. I don't particualy enjoy reading much. I just enjoy writing. But hey, I took some time to finally check your story out (I think you sent me a message, so I thought I would just go ahead and check it out anyway.) Well, I only read a small secti... view book

Hi Andrew. I think you need to make your pitch longer. It doesn't tell me that much about the story, except that Edvard has a relationship with Tulla Larson (what kind of relationship) whit results in her suicide attempt (why) and his fingers are shot off!? I'm not quite understanding the story th... view book
