about me

Margaret Weston is the author of ‘How do I know I know God’ which is intended to be the first in the series of ‘How do I know?’ books. The purpose of this first book is to point you to the Lord Jesus Christ and Margaret’s desire is simply that you should come to know Him for yourself.

Margaret enjoyed successful careers in banking and management consultancy until 1998. Since then however she has been able to pursue other interests, take more time to study the Bible and obtain a degree in theology with London University.

She is involved in voluntary work with her local church and in the community and is now a passionate supporter of the work of Tearfund. 'How do I know I know God' has been completed but only the first part of this book has been submitted to Authonomy. It has already been published as an ebook and is for sale on Amazon but it would be good to see it accepted and printed by Zondervan or Harper Collins.

If you buy this book on Amazon then you will be supporting Tearfund – a very worthwhile charity which is helping to release people in many parts of the world from material and spiritual poverty. You can learn more at www.tearfund.org.

You can contact me if you wish to do so at howdoiknowbooks@gmail.com

HOW DO I KNOW I KNOW GOD?

Margaret Weston

“How do you know you know God?” is the challenge – “can you prove it?” Yes, I can, can you?

“How do you know you know God?” is the challenge – “can you prove it?” This and many other questions are posed as the discussion between two people continues throughout this entire book. The message from the author is clear, it is possible to know God and if it is possible for her then it is possible for you.

In the first part of the discussion the subject is whether it is actually possible to have a relationship with God – “God with us? So you are saying that because God wanted to have a relationship with us he came down to earth to be with us?” The second section then goes into specific detail about the author’s personal relationship with God – “Relationships are not always easy and when God challenges me it is not comfortable but it is necessary.”

A book which is both encouraging and challenging. Whether you believe the Bible or you do not, I doubt if you will read 'How do I know I know God?' and not be changed in some way.

Wow! I wish I had read this when I was younger!! It would have helped me avoid so much heartache and disappointment! Your book comes across in a lovely gentle way - direct and to the point but not 'preachy' - I really like it. As I was reading it I envisaged you sitting across the room gently ch... view book

A very thoughtful and thought-provoking book. It is written in a very clear and easy to understand style. I have read several chapters and I hope to read more when I have time. I really like it! Challenging and yet encouraging at the same time it forces the reader to consider Scripture and then ... view book

An excellent book! I love the way the Bible verses are interwoven with daily life - Christianity is intensely practical (or it should be!) and this book shows how we can be helped in so many ways if we are governed by a 'quiet trust and sweet delight in Him' as your book says. I also love the ... view book

You are a talented writer. The prologue drew me in immediately and the characters are very 'real'. Although it is 'fiction' there are some elements which are unfortunately very true-to-life. Your writing is so vivid it makes me wonder if you have had real-life experience of some of this. I hav... view book

What a fantastic imagination you have! And you are able to write in a very clear way in order to express it - a powerful combination! I like your descriptions and the way you look at light and darkness - very original. I also like the way you describe Annette's thoughts - was it an hallucination,... view book
