about me
I absolutely love to read...books, clinical trials, papers, blogs....whether it's driven by nosiness rather than desire to further educate myself is yet to be determined. I studied Religion at University and am now in Medical Sales. It is fair to say I have a great working knowledge of both ends of the ethical spectrum.
I'm currently sulking because my TS ranking has gone down. I know it shouldn't matter but it's all I have to cling on to, seeing as I don't have a book for the book rankings. Please take note of the fact I am fairly competitive.
I say I will always leave a comment. But if I can't think of ANYTHING good to say about a book, I won't say anything at all, which means no comment. So, if you think I haven't read your book - because I haven't left a comment - and on questioning it turns out I have read it, you might not want to ask any further probing questions because it'll end in sulking and me wanting to leave the sight because I feel bad for eventually being forced to give an unwelcome opinion.
I'm not sure I always make sense when I try to communicate. I'm also prone to rambling.
My TS ranking is now in the 1000s...I am of no use to any of you :(
favourite books
' Jane Eyre', 'Out of the Light' by Jay Kasker, Donna Leon's books, various children's books ('Spellhorn', 'Z for Zachariah', 'The Twilight Barking'), 'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman has been a favourite for years, the 'Shopaholic' series (not exactly novels but still fun). Put it this way; I like an eclectic mix of the classics, some poetry and also modern drivel...basically, if it's a bunch of paper bound into a book then I'll read it.
