What people are saying about 2076 – Reagan’s Last Word:
“Hello Michael,
Well this is a terrific read, the whole premise is intriguing; and given the big brother attitude that seems to prevail in my own country at the moment it is a rather frightening prospect-- and sadly one that is becoming more possible as time passes. Okay enough politics. The book paces well --the excitement and frustration of your MC becoming more and more apparent...the need to keep silent, the fear of being discovered...running to remain free, and to allow truths to become known...all frighteningly familiar in a world that still remembers horrors of freedom denied ... You have written this well...and not gung-ho...Intensely human...that is its great appeal.”

“Big brother is watching you indeed, a really intriguing read that has been written very well.
Great pace with a promising premise.”

“This is original. An ingenious plot. Prose is crisp and clear, the plot well structured. The pace is fast compelling the reader onto the next chapter. An absorbing read with a great narrative. Watch out Orwell.”

”This needs to be published... Especially now as we march our way to socialism. Love the name change of Memorial Day. This is truly a scary book.”

“I often wonder what effect opening a time capsule will have in the future. Will the world be so different people will be unable to understand why those particular things were included in the capsule. So this is a great idea for a novel. You have a clear, almost reporter-like writing style that makes this easy to read. Good going.”

“Hello Michael, 1984 - 2076! Big brother is watching you. This is a fascinating concept and one which could all too easily happen - we already have had a taste of a controlling nanny state in the UK. We should all take note and beware.
On a much lighter note, this is really good writing. Your prose is excellent and your characters, believable. I want to read all of this. The thought of some of the things you write about, actually happening is frightening. History is already not being taught as freely as it should be in schools today.
Your story and stories like it should be published and read by every sane person. And on that basis it is going on my SHELF with the greatest pleasure. Good luck with this.”

“Well-written and engaging. I do like the ominous little inversions such as, ‘The job of a journalist is to report news that helps society achieve a common purpose.’”
