about me

Hi!

I'm taking a break from Authonomy, please don't bother reading my novel ... I'm redrafting it.

I'm Helen. I'm an Aussie. I love to read anything good, but especially female protagonist spec-lit.

A book I would recommend to every writer is Self-Editing for Fiction Writers by Renni Browne and Dave King.

Best of luck, everyone.

Hi J & M, this is as good as a published book, I think. Your description is effective and has a tactile pleasure to it. The premise and beginning are very compelling. I'm really impressed and certainly backing you. Cheers, Helen. view book

Hi David, this looks great. You have fast paced action and easy to read writing with plenty of conflict going on. I shall shelve it and wish you all the best. Cheers, Helen. view book

Hi Sly, this is very good. I smell Chuck Palanhiuk and Lee Child in there.. your favourite writers include some of mine too. I like the contrast of quoting the B. Gita. Present tense works really well. Shelved. Helen. view book

Oh geeze, I don't know if it's the rose' or the story, but I'm laughing so hard I'm crying, and it's hard to keep my eyes open to read. LOL. Hi Charlie, I've read up to chapter 5 now, and these are my tipsy impressions. It's very good, very intriguing and I rather warm to Don. I'm wondering if Re... view book

Hi Tony, I love this sort of premise, and this premise in particular. You prose is so easy to read and effortless, communicating a lot of info in a paragraph...words well chosen. Would a semicolon work better between long suffering and half-dead? At first I read half-dead as part of a continuing lis... view book
