GRUMBLEBUG AND ME

'The Grumble oath -- a sacred trust for the ages!'

'What wonderful work. I rarely come across something this enchanting on authonomy. '

'Really good storytelling, easy to read and follow, full of a sense of mystery and charm.'

'This is absolutely delightful. It is children's fantasy at its best. You have all the elements to grab the interest of your target audience and other children of all ages. '

'All children wish at some time they could discover a secret hiding place. Better, a place that led to exciting adventures. So this is a charming children's story. Even better, it's a story a parent would love to read to a child. '

'A great children's story. It makes me want to read it aloud to someone. The simplicity of your writing is one of its many pluses and not easy to do.'

'Original ideas and easy to read.'

A mother gazing out a window in her backyard.

This reminds her of an adventure she had.

She meets Nathan, an explorer. He tells our heroine her friends name is Old Grumble. Nathan is on a mission to find a solution to the Slidge problem.

Our heroine falls into helping Nathan in his quest both hoping they will find Old Grumble. They come across. Gadrina and Padrina who are friends of Nathan and Old Grumble.

The group head off to Slidgetown in the hope of finding Old Grumble. They overhear The Great Slidge threaten to destroy Grumbletown.

Old Grumble is grumblenabbed, there is a daring escape. At the end of the story we flash forward as the mother watches her own daughter slowly climb over the garden wall......

Andrew, have read all 5 chapters. and as your ranking would indicate this is fascinating reading. Very well written and very much a period piece. dialogue and descriptions are first rate. always more creepy when you are writing about real people. sure to get published! :) Diane view book

Jack, an epic book. wow. read all 56 chapters. the only thing that niggles is that some chapters tell you when the story is taking place and others do not. i would keep to the former it makes it easier to get into the frame of mind for that section without thinking to much about when it is taking ... view book

Julio, i think you have a really good book here. i would ditch the FAME rip off and just go with a regular school as the background. Dialougue reads real and natural. Read all 8 chapters. good luck with it. will get it up on my shelf please bear with me... :) Diane view book
