GRUMBLEBUG AND ME

'The Grumble oath -- a sacred trust for the ages!'

'What wonderful work. I rarely come across something this enchanting on authonomy. '

'Really good storytelling, easy to read and follow, full of a sense of mystery and charm.'

'This is absolutely delightful. It is children's fantasy at its best. You have all the elements to grab the interest of your target audience and other children of all ages. '

'All children wish at some time they could discover a secret hiding place. Better, a place that led to exciting adventures. So this is a charming children's story. Even better, it's a story a parent would love to read to a child. '

'A great children's story. It makes me want to read it aloud to someone. The simplicity of your writing is one of its many pluses and not easy to do.'

'Original ideas and easy to read.'

A mother gazing out a window in her backyard.

She meets Nathan, an explorer. He tells our heroine her friends name is Old Grumble. Nathan is on a mission to find a solution to the Slidge problem.

Our heroine falls into helping Nathan in his quest both hoping they will find Old Grumble. They come across. Gadrina and Padrina who are friends of Nathan and Old Grumble.

The group head off to Slidgetown in the hope of finding Old Grumble. They overhear The Great Slidge threaten to destroy Grumbletown.

Old Grumble is grumblenabbed, there is a daring escape. At the end of the story we flash forward as the mother watches her own daughter slowly climb over the garden wall......

Very scatty. yes an edit would help with tightening up loose bits. you did very well to write in what is obviously not your first language. That is huge since English is so strange grammatically.... i would say keep at the tweaking and good luck :) diane view book

jennifer and Stacey, have read all 12. abit slow in the beginning but once you get the premise of the story established it reads very smoothly. a bit on the twilight side of writing for my liking but it is written very well and the dialougue reads real and natural which helps to give your characte... view book

Stacey, read all 6. i have to say it is a unique story so far. The prologue is extremely strong but the rest of the story seems to trail off as it goes on. Maybe we should learn more about Derek before he makes the deal? just a thought. i enjoyed what you have posted so far. thanks for asking me ... view book

Ian, ambitious, funny, dialougue is a treat and flows effortlessly. reminds me of donald e westlake in taking the average and somehow making it well above that! enjoyed it a lot continued good luck with this there is a market out there for this. :) Diane view book
