about me

'Prygon: The Circle of Dark Magic' has been published and is available in paperback via amazon. Also available for Kindle and Nook.

I love to throw myself into a good book, or into the flow of writing something creative, whether it be a short story, poetry, or working on my novel.

I am currently marketing myfirst book 'Prygon: The Circle of Dark Magic.' I am also working on my new novel 'Deflection.' I just love writing fantasy!

By day I work as a Project Manager, but my real passion is to write.

Please feel free to browse around and give some honest feedback on my work.

Nettle’s world is ruled by corrupt Mino Priests. All she desires is freedom from her wicked mother and her underhanded coven. The journey is dangerous…

Nettle is a Sorceron, who lives on Scarab Island. Her world is made up of many covens that sit under the rule of the corrupt, Mino Priests. Nettle leads a lonely life, bound to a spiteful mother, and a corrupt coven; she will do anything to escape her dark mapped out future.
One evening, Nettle’s mother murders her cat in a ruthless attempt to teach her daughter a lesson. This night Nettle vows to find a way out. In the Mino archives, she discovers the ancient deflection law. The law states that on their eighteenth birthday, a Sorceron can switch covens. Nettle decides it’s her opportunity to find freedom and seeks help from her friends in the Corydon Coven.
The Mino noticed Nettle’s strengths in Sorcery at a young age and have been cultivating her ever since. Not only is she a weapon for them, but she has knowledge which could bring down their institution. Her Mother and the Mino will do everything in their power to keep her in their coven. Nettle almost gives in, as the people she cares for are punished, but will friendship and magic break her free? Only time will tell.

Prygon: The Circle of Dark Mag....

Kirsty Crees

Belle always searched for adventure, but never imagined such terror might await her; darkness is stirring in Prygon and the young princess must be strong.

‘We must move quickly, for the sooner we get out of Carston the better. I have a great deal to tell you tonight. I was never sure if the time would come, but it has; I must now inform you of the dark history surrounding your ancestors,’ said the sorcerer, Jeraldon.

Belle is bored of being an object of the court; the only person who really knows her is Henry, the apprentice sorcerer. All she desires is to find adventure and love. However, her life is about to change. The world of Prygon has been at peace for many years, but an immortal ex-king is lurking; Edward Platen is back for the throne of Carston and plans to kill anything in his path.

After an attack in the night, Belle flees from Carston to a far away city with Jeraldon, her brother and her father’s best knight; there the group runs from Platens henchmen.

While the city of Carston prepares for war, Belle faces her own dangers. Is it only Platen she runs from, or is there a darker force at work?

Your wirting is very strong. I love the way you try and evoke the sense using warmth from the streets and fire against the cold night. Yo ualso use sound as well as touch and sight. It is an easy, fast-paced read and feels original. Love it! Kirsty 'Deflection' view book

The descriptive language is vivid and allows the reader to easily pull up a picture of Lepra and her surroudnings. THe way she desires to open the chest makes the reader feel that desire, forcing them to read on. I love the stye and imagery in this writing. Great work! Kirsty 'Deflection' view book

I love the way your premise serves the reader, as it allows most of us to think back and emphasize with Susan. I love the opening passage, as it is different and gets you to turn the page and read on. I do think that Chapter 2 is a little too formal in it's structure. I almost think that open... view book
