about me

This is my first and only book I have ever written. It is complete but only the chapters I think are finished are here (although every time I look at them something still gets changed, usually because of some very good comments.)

This book was completely unplanned, which is probably evident from the way it evolved but has always relied upon my life's experiences.

I blame training to be a priest, working for an ambulance service and a degree in philosophy, for how my mind works and I suppose the wine hasn't helped.

I back those books I have enjoyed reading and will always return book reads, I don't normally leave comments unless I honestly think that something needs addressing.

Lastly, I do forget sometimes, so if you think I haven't returned a read please let me know, once again thanks for reading PADS, cheers Dixie.

An amateur paramedic detective society attempt to catch an unusual murderer with one advantage, no one else knows what is going on either!

Led by their illustrious founder John Wyse, a ramshackle collection of paramedics leave behind their normal careers working for the worlds greatest ambulance service to form the Purple-Plus Amateur Detective Society and embark on their first detective case.

A bizarre serial killer is at work, who has twisted cherished childhood memories to accomplish their foul deeds and the chase is on to stop any further atrocities. Stumbling through what has happened, disaster and ridicule follow the amateur detectives' every step as the consequences of their meddling becomes clear.

Lost within the confusion, Mr Wyse is required to light the way to prevent not only the dissolution of the Society but more importantly, to ensure they all survive

Hi, I like the idea but found the formating problematic, an example would be the beginning of chapter three, a long paragraph that dosen't seem to flow. It is however an interesting idea and would agree that a stronger caricuture would suit the short sharp chapters. view book

Hi John, I've enjoyed your book so far which flows very well, I really like the information given at the beginning of the chapters and was then a bit dissapointed when it came to chp 11 when the format changed and then they disappeared altogether. Thanks for a great read dixie. view book
