Reminiscent, in part, of NETWORK and its plea for a public to speak out, in anger if necessary, Echosis chronicles the growth of NYC sculptor, Derek Turrel, and the obstacles he encounters in trying to hold onto his integrity as he realizes success and influence via his new paradigm for Art and Entertainment appreciation. He proffers his beliefs to a world gone a muck with media's continued contempt for individuality and its determination to "give the people what they want" instead of affording them a creative opportunity for learning "what they need." Little does he know that such an act will lead to a counter threat by extremists that will shake the very foundation of freedom of expression as we know it.
