Hi - I'm Enos L. Russell, Ph.D., educated in mathematics, and trained in research, I have spent several years as a corporate consultant for emerging technologies and as an online instructor. My writings reflect an eclectic interest in the impact new technologies may impose on individuals and social groups. My latest research into programming genetic code (Epigenetics) and brain development has led to the COHORT novels. My genre is Mystery Thriller with a dash of paranormal skills thrown in.

ReSet

E L Russell

In ReSet, a science fiction mystery thriller, a young woman discovers the secrets of the genome and unlocks the mystery of human evolution and immortality.

Her legs paralyzed by a cycling accident, a wheelchair bound graduate medical researcher discovers the secret of the human genome and unlocks the mystery of human evolution. Chloe Russo’s knowledge of a new human species leads to persecution by the government and life-threatening danger from paramilitary forces that want her secrets weaponized. Will the help of her evolving cohort, specifically Dr. Michael Kregg, a gifted psychiatrist, be enough to elude the dark forces and use her research for the good of mankind?

ReSet is written as a sequel to Onset, but can also be read on its own.

Onset

E L Russell

Onset is a science fiction story about the triumph of a woman pursued by dark forces that want the secrets of her abilities and powers.

Confined to a wheelchair, Chloe struggles to overcome injuries from a bike racing accident. She does not associate the voices in her head with emerging powers. Instead, she fears she may have onset schizophrenia.
Can Chloe protect herself from falling into the hands of those who would control her powers and realize her true destiny?

I hope you enjoy this story.
Look for its sequel, ReSet

Thank you JJ. I've bookmarked the pitch link and will be there shortly. I've incorporated your feedback and ideas from our critique circles - they have contributed so much to what you're reading here. Thanks for the reviews - all of them! Enos view book
