There are a number of ‘guides’ on the bookshelves but they often take a narrow view of experience and neglect perhaps the greatest communication tool we possess – humour. This book breaks the mould and is an honest (warts ‘n’ all) and funny account of how five first time Dads approached the birth of their child from before conception right through to the baby at 6 months old. These are true accounts and so it is an autobiographical approach.
The ‘story’ unfolds as for every chapter (covering subjects as diverse as, the conception, telling the grandparents, boy or girl, the name, and explaining the changing relationships as time went on) each author describes their inner thoughts and share their regrets, fears, joys and misconceptions!
