To dream is good. To participate in the process of change is excellent. But are you ready to pay or to get betrayed.
The life of Dr Hanuman Singh is in fact series of political adventures resulting in a psychological disorder. He is born in a small village in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India to a backward (caste) family. His father is a school teacher who wishes his son to be a civil servant. However a series of accidents leads him to become a hardcore communist, a Maoist.
Before he understands what Communism is he is a communist and as he realizes the idea of a communist society he finds that the leadership has betrayed their own ideals.
After completing his schooling in the village his father sends him to Allahabad for higher studies where he, accidently, joins a Marxist cultural group, affiliated to a socialist party. The party has long given up the idea of armed revolution and is now trying to win the parliament seats. During one of the elections he is sent to campaign for the party where the person for who he has come to campaign physically abuses him.
While studying he comes in contact with people who tell him about the ongoing Maoist revolution in the neighboring country Nepal. This begins the adventure.
