about me

I have not had a book available here for some time and haven't had time to do any commenting either. Apologies to anyone who has been waiting for me to start commenting again. I have a very busy life and I am not sure that I will ever be in a position to read as much as I would like here.
Thanks to everyone who has commented on my books in the past. For information about them and about my activities please see one of my blogs.

There were few wrong notes, and I particularly like the way you don't spell everything out but leave the reader to fill in some gaps. I am happy to back... view book

Hi, KZ, I am backing this novel - I haven't a clue what it all means after a couple of chapters, but I like the writing style and the fact that you seem to be grappling with enormous concepts which may or may not be explained as it goes on. Hope you get a good deal for the film rights! best wishes,... view book

Personally I can't read very much of this as I find the style so irritating, although at the same ti... view book

Hello Pia, What a lovely picture you paint in the first chapter - will read more later but my eyes are tired at the moment. I found it very intriguing. Like someone else who commented, I didn't expect to like this when I read the pitch - maybe that needs a little bit more work or a different angle... view book

I've enjoyed what I've read of this very much indeed - never mind the target audience, I feel your writing could draw people of all ages into the story. The only thing that puzzles me slightly (and I am clutching at straws here!) is that Gareth seems very much younger in the first chapter than in t... view book
