about me

I'm doing reads here and there now, but when I post my book, I'll be asking for returns.

I was previously the member, MatthewW42 and had posted my book, MIKA some time ago. Since then, I've acquired an agent and he is working on placing my book with a publisher.

I also have four nonfiction titles published based on my climate research from when I was living in the Ural Mountains.

In my retirement, I've found relaxation in continuing my writings. I am a horror fiction writer.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME SPAM. I DO NOT EVER RESPOND.

This is a helpful guide which could be of use to many writers on this site. I think your careful consideration of how you organized your material is very apparent. I'm glad for what I have read, but would be interested in reading more, since the older I get, the rustier my grammar seems to become. ... view book

An interesting premise, about the mermaids, the human girl, and global warming. I'm thinking this is the sort of book my daughters would have enjoyed when they were teenagers. It's well written in a way that keeps the story flowing. I take note of things like this often since I'm a horror writer.... view book

This is an interesting start. Two small pieces of advice I'd like to offer: Read each paragraph and take note of words you keep repeating. It jostles the reading flow. Since this isn't a child's book, I'd suggest saying things in ways that other people haven't said them before. Familiarity is g... view book

Hello Liam, This is a book that is very "earthy." It gets to the bare bones off many issues that are interesting and compelling. It reads like a river with a nice flow and a heartbeat of its own. The pitches really hooked me to read this excellent story. I'm glad I've come across such and intere... view book
