about me

I aim to read and be read for that is what writers do.
I wish to improve my own work and help others where I can.
I will no longer play the authonomy game, or try for the Desk. However, I am attempting to edit these two books I have uploaded with a view to posting them on line when they are ready. Therefore any comments or assistance will be much appreciated.
For if H/c were interested they would have seen my work by now. I do not wish to find my message board full of spam.

1. My novels:-

1. Murders in Beer, This book is complete with 111350 words.

2. Oranges and Lemons, A work in progress, and a sequel to MIB. The basic story line is complete

3. A Proof of Innocence, A work in progress and another Hyperion Scott novel. The basic story line is complete

4. Boudiga of the Iceni, These comprise a series of historical fiction novels set against known British history.
The first three volumes are complete and are approx 130k approx words ea. These comprise-

The Deep Magic , which covers the life and times of the early occupation of Britain by Rome and the Romans, desire to destroy the Druids and their supporters in the Iceni nation.

Boudiga of the Iceni is a tale of the Iceni rebellion under Queen Boudicca and the Keeper of the Talisman who aids her. Of how and when Prasutagus and Boudiccia meet ,and fall in love. Though their lives we witness the struggle with the Legions of Rome. We will meet The People of the legions and their early campaign to conquer Britain.
Most importantly we will learn of the druid, their gods and their deep magic which can do wondrous things.

Boudiccia, Queen of the Iceni , Continues the story of the Iceni rebellion and describes the fate of the Druids and of the Chosen as the evil of the Dark Destryer spreads across the land. We will encounter Catus the Procurator who's main aim is to grab as much of the wealth of these lands as he can. For himself and Nero.
We learn more of the dark seekers and how the Chief Esupa Astus becomes embroiled in this battle between godd and eveil as he sucumms to the powwers of the evil Talisman he wears.
There also is another Talisman given by the divine hand and it is for its keeper to heal this broken land and bring about the birth of Avalon and the future of Albion.
So is the battle between the Good and evil forces, fought out against the backdrop of the birth of Christianity.

Book 3. The death of a king, will set down the struggle between the might of Rome that lead up to the start of the Iceni rebellion and tell of her downfall.

Book 4, The revenge of a Queen will describe the rebelion and the fate of the chosen who serve on the three sides of this Triangle of Love magic and revenge.

This we will be witness as \the Guardian weaves the tapisty that will show these events so that their stories may be told to future generations.

that do battle for the destiny of humankind.

These novels could be classed as Historical Fantasy, because they incorporate a belief in the gods and the deep magic of the Druids, however they incorporate a much wider time span, which travels across our known histories and even into the future in further volumes.

5. A Penny for the Guy, A work in progress that is 95% complete.
It is set just after the Second World War and describes the life and times of the Rutter and Twist families. This is a romance and murder mystery, which has two young children at its centre and encompasses a romance and mystery. These story lines cover the life and times of Post war Britain and touch on the Nuremburg war crimes trials as their parents become immersed in finding evidence to bring one of the Camp commandants to trial.

6. The Left Minded Snail is completed, a children’s story, which needs illustration. Its message is that it is OK to be different and that we should take care of our planet.

7. Fractures in Time, A historical /science fiction novel, which is 75% complete.
It describes the effect that a comet has on a particular section of time and space in northern France. It starts in the year 2000 and continues back to Normandy in 1944 just before D-day. The story explores the changes that could occur in the time lines, when a young woman is transported back in time, from the year 2000, in her Japanese car full of modern equipment and possessions.

8. The Librarian, A work in progress and 50% complete. A science fiction time travel story set in the future, where humanity has suffered an apocalyptic war that has resulted in mutations, which has given some of them paranormal powers. The Librarian is trying to salvage the knowledge of the old world and the Techno- Seekers are trying to destroy it, so that humanity does not make the same mistakes again.

I have revised the original book which was called the Deep Magic to omit some of the story telling that was blocking the first chapters .whilst playing down the Christian element which still exists , but is developed in the later chapters. I hope any new readers, will approve? view book
