about me

First novel at age 67 says something. Finally all the wires connected and it came out, after two years of considering options and one year in the making. Taught freshman English, worked as a school administrator -- writing is not something one does in spare time. Retired, had time to think things over. "Image of a Girl" might be the one and only, but I really like it.

In my teaching days, I expressed to my students that many respected authors, including Shakespeare and Ernest Hemingway as examples, wrote excellent adolescent literature. Let's add you and "Thoughts of a Teenage Girl" to the list. I see sincere sensitivity, sympathy, and respect for the pains of ... view book

The book begs to become a motion picture. Slam bang action, a hero the reader cares about. A lot of tough experience and great talent went into this book. Hope to see it in Barnes and Noble. view book

I really like this. The primary conflict is excellent. Hunting for an inner antagonist -- the mole -- causes greater tension than chasing an outer antagonist. Briilliant characteriziation, compelling plot structure, and just an interesting read. All the best. view book

I am fascinated by the short, succient narrative passages. I am engaged by the structure of the work, the amusing characters, a plot that reminds me of Ulysses (the Joyce version). Well done and best wishes. view book
