about me

I'm an American living in London who has written a novel called "The Red Hot Grind Show" and recorded an album of music of the same name. The story is a noir thriller set in suburban New Jersey, and the album is in the format of a radio show that features the sounds of the underground music scene called "Grind".

But meeting Ben in the second chapter and getting to know him and his futuristic world through chapters 3 and 4 was quite a pleasure. Chapter five (can'... view book

Sue, Thanks for asking me to take a look at this. I see many others have commented on your first chapter, and I agree with many of their comments. There is one other feature of that first chapter that goes on to affect your explosive 2nd chapter that I think is worth mentioning. Your prose som... view book

Michael, With 647 comments, I can't imagine I can bring anything new to the table. So let me freely rave about your outstanding command of language and your richly drawn scenes. I'm not an avid reader of historic/war themed works, but this really drew me in and the scenes that took place in the... view book

Stephen, Your hilarious comedic prose made for absolutely compulsive reading for me. Matt is more than likable in his role of tragic victim, and you vividly render his world of mistakes and plain old bad luck. The scene with Matt and his Polish date was a master class in humor in both prose and... view book
