I began my writing as a young girl with my diary.

My romance novel, The Sonnet is complete.


I have successfully completed the following courses:

I attended writing workshops at Surrey Writers Conference in British Columbia,. Canada.

Penticton Writers Conference 2002, Penticton, BC. Canada,
Non-Fiction Category Writing Competition (first five pages of my memoir.)

My job as a writer is to be diligent in my promise to keep the 'stakes' high and to try and transfer 'the experience' of my story(s) in a strong and emotional way to my reader.

I will now continue working on my other novel about a young country girl who leaves her family and moves to London to work as a domestic during the Victorian era..
My own grandmother lived and worked in Oxford as a domestic, as did my great grandmother.. ,

I am at this time editing my memoir which is complete,
