I am writing for the first time at the age of 53, and I have found that it is what I was supposed to be doing all my life. I heard Oprah once say that she knew her career was right because it felt like breathing, that's how writing feels to me. I've raised my family, had jobs that I love, my husband is wonderful and now it's time for me.
