Only had time to read the prologue but I loved it, especially how the firends came over in celebration mode instead of giving sympathy. And the list is perfect. This is going on my bookshelf and I will read more when I get the chance. view book

Hi Lesa, I haven't read the whole book but read the first few chapters. I liked the prologue - it isn't too long and captures the reader's attention with questions about what has gone on before. This is a nicely written story. It flows well, making it easy to read. I particularly liked the relationship between Olwud and Judd and the fight with the wolf. The only niggle I have is at the beginning of ch4 - "guiding a the ewe" but this just needs the 'a' or 'the' removing. view book

I have read the first three chapters so far and found it very moving. I can picture everything that is happening and feel the fear and despair. I haven't found any bad points so far and will be shelving. view book
