Daffodil and the Thin Place

Dawn Knox

One simple yawn is enough to plunge shy, diffident teenager, Daffodil Lane into a world of intrigue and murder-a century before she was born…

One simple yawn is all it takes for teenager, Daffodil Lane to unknowingly breathe in a wandering soul and swallow it, trapping it in her stomach. To the rest of the world, the soul sounds like a rumbling tummy but horrified Daffodil hears a voice insistently demanding to be released.
She travels back more than 100 years in an attempt to rid herself of the voice and to reunite it with its body but the repercussions of her journey reverberate through the years, affecting the lives of people in both the Victorian times and the 21st Century.

I can't wait for the rest. I liked the way you referred to Grandma Mae as a hurricane! Nice mix of narrative and conversation. view book

I've only just started this but I like your style and will try to get back to it very soon. It's on my bookshelf. Nicely done! Dawn view book
