about me

A super BIG thanks to those who took the time to read and back my story while it was posted here and to those who took the time to read even if they didn’t back it.

I love the mental challenge of writing and like many here can't imagine not writing. Have quite a few books under my belt — one published.

Some of the comedic offerings on this site – wit, satire, dark humour – have impressed and entertained me the most.

Happy writing, everyone!

*Dead Moon Rising* I’ve had this queued for shelving since reading it some weeks ago. I’ve read stories on this site with publishing potential, providing *a lot* of editing is done on them to get them to an actual publishable state. ‘Dead Moon Rising’ is not only an engrossing read but a beaut... view book

Read the first two chapters of this and had to stop. Was enjoying it so much I realised I wanted to wait till I had more time to come back and read the rest at a pace at which I could savour it. I was drawn irresistibly into your childhood, loved the feeling I had of being there in that time and p... view book

I have to admit I’m no fan of fantasy and sci-fi, but I do sometimes look at genres here outside my interest to see if the writing, if not the story, grabs me. Read your first two chapters. General impressions: you know your language. A big plus for you. Very easy to read style of writing. ... view book

Your opening chapter read like a gripping piece of fiction. Right off the bat you brought an energy to your life story that had me thinking it would make a great film. Jumped to Chapter 34 and the ‘Without a Country’ section. Your first impressions of being in the ‘free’ world were wonderful to... view book

A masterfully delicious read! You have created genius in your innovative retelling of some insipid and threadbare fairy tales. Read five of them and will be back to read the rest. ‘The Planning Office’ had me shaking; an absolutely hilarious take on—well, we all know those little porkers and the ... view book
